Seems Jeff was way ahead of his time for effects. Maybe even before Hendrix, who was essentialy a R&B player before 1966. He must have caught the effect train arriving in London ? Maybe I'm wrong. But english guitarists seemed more avant guard in terms of experiminting with gear than their US counterparts (except for Les Paul obviously)

That was without a doubt the best lineup The Stones ever had. He may have stayed longer if he had gotten songwriting credit on the songs which he collaborated with Mick on. His guitar playing on those albums he played on is incredible it was their most creative period.

What goes for the metal also counts for the lacquer. It's different from 60 + years ago. I personally see the custom shop work more as a detailed craftsmanship which can be personalized to your request. One thing is for sure ..... the custom shop guitars play very nicely which is not always the case with real vintage instruments

I am 77. When I started out in the early 60's I was a Duane Eddy fan but being a kid I only bought the unsold records at the local music store. 3 for a dollar. I found some guy named Freddy King doing Hideaway in the pile. WOW everything changed. By the late 60's I was going hundreds of miles every few months to buy anything loosely called Chicago Blues to buy, learn and play in my band. I can remember the day I scored The best of Muddy Waters and BB King live at the Regal on the same day.

That was killer Ramon! Great playing and amazing tone.

Beautiful guitar and playing Ramon. It's a deep winding rabbit-hole the old "bitsa" strat game but very satisfying when you have a great guitar at the end no matter what it says on the head stock!. Peace.
